About Us

The Clocker Club is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization comprising students, parents, teachers, coaches, and interested community members. The Clocker Club is dedicated to supporting and advancing all the athletic programs at Ashland High School and Middle School. It does so by lending financial and volunteer assistance to the athletic programs and meeting specific needs outside the district's budget.

 

The Clocker Club works "hand in hand" with the many youth programs in the town to promote the development of Ashland School athletics. The Clocker Club works with Team, School, Parent, and Community Spirit organizations to enhance the sports experience in Ashland.

Our History

Our Mission & Primary Objectives

MISSION

The primary purpose of the organization is to promote the purpose, pride, and performance of student-athletes at Ashland High School and Ashland Middle School, participating in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA), and for Cheerleading, the Massachusetts School Administrators Association (MSAA), to raise funds through charitable donations, to provide the necessary equipment and monies to accomplish the following purposes:

  1. To advocate through demeanor and action the Ashland athletic department philosophy.

  2. To increase community awareness and support for the high school's athletic programs.

  3. To ensure that playing venues are safe and athlete-friendly.

  4. To minimize or eliminate the negative impacts of user fees.

  5. To ensure a reputation for high student support and participation in the high school's athletic programs.

  6. To increase the collegiate placement of graduated student-athletes.

  7. To actively and successfully contribute to the overall positive spirit of the community through the success of our teams and the values of our student-athletes.

 

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Raise funds to support the athletic programs of Ashland High School with needs beyond the budget. This includes:

  1. Increase community awareness and support for the High School's athletic programs.

  2. Ensure a reputation for high student support and participation in the High School's athletic programs.

  3. Actively and successfully contribute to the overall positive spirit of the community through the success of our teams and the values of our student-athletes.

Leadership

The Clocker Club is run by an elected board of officers and a group of dedicated volunteers who work with the officers and the Athletic Director. Membership is available at various sponsor levels to any student, parent, teacher, coach, or community member who wants to help support all the sports programs at Ashland High School and Ashland Middle School. An annual (school year) family membership form can be found in the Membership section of this website.
